Vanair (Michigan City, Indiana) is proud to announce the acquisition of the Cyclone Air Power product line from Sullivan Palatek. The purchase allows Vanair to add to its industry-leading mobile power offerings. Founded in 1994 in Staten Island, New York by Robert Meeker, Cyclone Air Power’s primary product offering are PTO driven power systems, making it a perfect fit with Vanair. Robert Meeker has joined the Vanair sales team as the Vice President of Cylone Products, and will spearhead the efforts to continue serving Cyclone customers, as well as promote Vanair products throughout the United States.

Ralph Kokot, Chief Executive Officer of Vanair, states, “We are excited to have Cyclone Air Power as an addition to our mobile power solutions. As our company has grown over the years, we have always focused on meeting the needs of our customers. Cyclone Air Power offers another option for customers from our expanding product line.”

Greg Kelly

Vanair is pleased to welcome Greg Kelly as its Chief Procurement Officer. Kelly is responsible for strategically managing Vanair’s supply chain vendors and other aspects of the procurement process, both externally and internally. His other principal duties include developing and executing plans to lower material cost, quality and delivery, managing the buying team, establishing measurable performance metrics, and managing supplier, contract, and agreement risk.

Most recently, Kelly has worked at Shepherd Hardware Products, where he held the position of Contract Global Supply Chain Director. He also worked at Sullair Corporation, where he held various roles over the course of his career, such as Procurement and Planning Stationary Products Manager, Global Commodity Manager, and Global Supply Chain Manager.

Vanair would like to offer its sincere congratulations to one of our largest customers for over two decades, American Truck & Trailer Body (AT&TB), as it celebrates its 25th year in 2017. American Truck & Trailer Body supplies fleet equipment to major Investor-Owned Utilities, municipalities, and contractors throughout the West Coast of the country. The company designs and builds ergonomic, safety-conscious custom fleet equipment solutions to satisfy the end user’s worksite needs.

AT&TB has expanded over the past 25 years to meet demand, both in location and personnel. In 2016, it increased its workforce by 25% and opened a new 50,000 square foot Grant Line facility, a Woodland paint facility, and 40,000 square foot expansion in Tracy, California.

Vanair Manufacturing, Inc., the leading provider of mobile power solutions, is proud to announce the acquisition of Goodall® Mfg., LLC as of January 3, 2017. Goodall is the leader in jump-starting and battery-charging technology, serving the transportation and construction industries since 1939. Their Start-All® and Boost-All® product lines are the most recognized starting equipment brands in the industry.

“Goodall is a tremendous addition to the Vanair family. We respect their longevity, industry ranking, and the loyalty of their customers,” states Ralph Kokot, CEO of Vanair. “This acquisition provides our mutual customers a one-source solution for any mobile power need.”

Vanair will offer Start-All® and Boost-All® products and related accessories under the Goodall brand. Goodall products will continue to be available through Goodall’s existing distribution network and will also be available through Vanair’s distribution channels in the near future.
