Terms and Conditions

Starting June 1, 2026, here’s what you need to know if you’re leaving your vehicle with Vanair® Manufacturing, LLC or The Lincoln Electric Company ("Vanair") for work:

  1. What Happens When You Drop Off Your Vehicle
  • By delivering your vehicle, you’re agreeing to a bailment relationship (basically, Vanair takes custody of your vehicle while working on it).
  • Vanair will take reasonable care of your vehicle but isn’t responsible for things like theft, fire, weather damage, or rodent issues.
  • You need to keep insurance on your vehicle and show proof within 15 days of dropping it off.
  1. Storage Fees
  • If your vehicle stays at Vanair’s facility, you’ll be charged $10 per day starting the day it’s delivered.
  • No fees if:
    • You provide a purchase order and proof of insurance within 15 days.
    • You pick up your vehicle within 15 days after Vanair sends the final invoice.
  • Fees kick back in if:
    • You don’t pick up your vehicle within 15 days of the final invoice.
    • You delay work for more than 15 days past the agreed start date.
  • Late payments will have interest added after 15 days.
  1. Risk of Loss
  • Once Vanair invoices you, title and risk of loss for any parts or goods they provide transfer to you.
  • If your vehicle or goods are stored at Vanair’s facility, it’s at your own risk, unless Vanair is grossly negligent.
  1. Unclaimed Vehicles
  • If your vehicle is left at Vanair’s facility for more than 60 days without proper communication or payment, Vanair can enforce legal remedies like selling the vehicle or transferring its title under Indiana or Ohio law.
  1. Vanair’s Rights
  • Vanair can enforce liens or other legal remedies to recover unpaid fees or costs.
  • If enforcement is needed, you’ll be responsible for attorney’s fees, auction costs, and other expenses.

What You’re Agreeing To

By dropping off your vehicle or not responding to this notice within 15 days, you’re agreeing to these terms. If you don’t respond, Vanair can still enforce its rights under the law.

Bottom Line: Keep your insurance up to date, pay your bills on time, and pick up your vehicle promptly to avoid extra fees or legal headaches.
