PowerFlex™ AE Diesel | Air + Generator

40 CFM rotary screw air compressor at 150 PSI paired with a 7 kW AC generator. Built for utility and field service trucks that need continuous air and electric power without idling the chassis engine. The most common PowerFlex™ configuration in fleet service.

PowerFlex™ AE Gas | Air + Generator

Rotary screw compressor with integrated brushless AC generator, running on gasoline for applications where diesel isn’t practical. Suited for general construction, monument engraving, service vehicles, and roadside repair work. Shares the same compressor service intervals as the diesel AE.

PowerFlex™ AEH | Air + Generator + Hydraulics

40 CFM at 150 PSI rotary screw air compressor and hydraulic pump with 13 GPM and up to 3,000 PSI, with an integrated hydraulic reservoir. No generator. Tier 4 Final compliant and compact enough to fit a variety of load spaces where the generator output isn’t needed.

PowerFlex™ Maintenance Schedule at a Glance

All diesel PowerFlex™ models (AE, AEH, AH) share the same Kubota® D902 engine and rotary screw compressor platform, which means the core service intervals are identical across the lineup. The PowerFlex™ AE Gas follows the same compressor schedule on a gasoline engine service cadence.

Important: Service intervals are based on operating hours or calendar time, whichever comes first. Units operating in dusty, high-heat, or high-cycle environments should be inspected more frequently. Refer to your model’s operation manual for environment-specific guidance.

Why the 50-Hour Break-In Service Matters

Rotary screw compressors generate elevated heat and fine metallic particles during initial run-in as internal tolerances seat. Skipping the 50-hour service allows contaminated break-in oil to remain in the system, which accelerates wear on the air end and separator element. Perform KIT1285 before the unit enters regular fleet rotation.

All PowerFlex™ rotary screw air ends require Vanguard™ Premium Rotary Screw Compressor Oil (264626-1GAL). Substituting non-approved oils can void the lifetime warranty on the air end and accelerate separator element degradation.
