Question: How long have you been working with Vanair®, a Lincoln Electric Company?
Answer: We’ve been working with Vanair® products for about five, maybe six years now – mainly on the underdeck systems. We work with about 50-60 of these units a year.
Q: What are your thoughts about maintenance with Vanair® PTO Underdeck Systems?
A: Great product. After the sale, they very rarely ever malfunction. If they do, tech support is hardly needed. Great to work with – no issues whatsoever. Parts are also always readily available.
Q: What are the best features of Vanair® PTO Underdeck Systems?
A: The best thing that we see about the underdeck systems is the [FailSafe® Dual Sensor Redundancy System]. You could have, let’s say, some road debris take out some minor wiring – or if we have one temperature sensor fail – the system will automatically switch over to the second sensor, so the machine never actually goes down. It will let the operator know on the display that the primary sensor has failed. At that point, they can call in, give us what the code is saying on their screen, and it’s a simple five, 10-minute fix and they are back up and going.
