Need AC power but don’t have the room for a PTO shaft-driven generator? Vanair’s hydraulic driven generators provide you with up to 15kW of AC power with the flexibility to mount it anywhere on the chassis. Ideally suited for trucks with hydraulics already installed on them, Vanair’s hydraulic generators are well suited for applications such as: plastic pipe fusion, night lighting, and pipeline relining equipment.

Product improvement is a continuing goal. Design and specifications are subject to change without notice or obligations.
- The hydraulic powered generator is much simpler to operate than its engine-driven counterparts. There is no need to replace the chassis alternator or add extra batteries similar to dynamic and static inverter applications.
- Generates real AC power – not simulated or converted power – in capacities from 4,000 to 20,000 WATTS
- Offers both 120-volt and 240-volt outlets
- Precise frequency controls keep output regulated within two percent
Safety Equipment
- Built-in over speed protection
- Ground fault interrupter circuit
- Built-in short circuit protection
Quality Features
- Maintenance-free design
- Brushless design
- 400% motor starting capabilities
- Lifetime lubricated bearings
- Quiet operation
Hydraulic Features
- Pressure compensating flow regulator
- Lifetime guaranteed alignment
- Operates on open- or closed-loop system up to 2500 PSI
- Frequency meter
- Amp meter
- Voltage meter
- Remote on/off switch
All hydraulic ratings and pressures are at the machine and do not take into account the pressure drops of individual hydraulic systems. These pressure drops need to be taken into account and added to the rating of the hydraulic pump and components. The hydraulic ratings listed are at sea level. Performance may be affected when operating at altitudes above 4,000 feet.
Vanair® highly recommends consulting a hydraulic supply expert for specifying the oil reservoir size, hydraulic cooler, additional pressure relief(s), and other hydraulic supply components for your application. Please take into consideration the following:
- The hydraulic flow and pressure requirements of the hydraulic tools
- When hydraulic tools are running, there is a continuous hydraulic load and an external hydraulic cooler is needed
- Duty cycle and ambient operating temperatures.
