The EPEQ® system operates at 48V rather than a standard 12V vehicle charge system. Therefore, a 48V power source, or a converter, must be used to transform standard 12V power to 48V power (to recharge the ELiMENT® Battery(ies)). You could also choose to use shore power.
EPEQ® Shore Power provides 120VAC to charge your ELiMENT® Battery. The Shore Power charger utilizes, but does not provide, 120VAC to charge the battery.
